Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Selling:Integrates into the patient care continuum. Cultivates a small baseof customers and/or a less complex customer base. Continuouslyprospects for new customers, acts on leads and persuasivelypositions our products and services versus competitors. Drivessales revenue to achieve territory priorities. Demonstrates basicknowledge and insight of competitor strengths, weaknesses andstrategies. Works closely with Regional Business Manager ondeveloping sales strategy.
  • BusinessAcumen: Translates business strategy into clear objectives bymaintaining pricing strategy discipline, anticipating problems andestablishing procedures for meeting goals. Acts in accordance withcompliance, quality and T&E policies. Demonstrates broadunderstanding of financial management principles and its impact ona territory level. Collaborates with Regional Business Manager,HE&R and National Accounts to increase sales teamsuccess.
  • People: Provides and receivescoaching, and open and honest feedback to ensure success. Developshigh performing teams by establishing a spirit of cooperation andcohesion for achieving goals. Builds rapport with clinicians,nurses, technicians and patients to influence sales and usage ofBSN products. Actively listens to others with empathy and respect.Is committed to professional and personal development. Conductsoneself in a professional manner in allinteractions.
  • Technical: Appropriate workingknowledge of BSN products and applications. Basic computer skills,procedures and programming. Competent to support physician's use ofour products in the OR and typical patient programming andreprogramming. Translates technical and clinical knowledgeand information in a way that builds customer and patient loyalty.Provides technical feedback to Clinical, Marketing, Quality andR&D. Serves as a resource for clinical support for troubleshooting, programming and patient followup.

  • BachelorsDegree
  • 2 years experience in aggressivemedical device commission sales role
  • Must beavailable to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days perweek
  • Excellent written and verbal communicationskills
  • PreferredQualifications:

  • Medicaldevice sales experience
  • Operating room conductand Hospital, physicians office or Medical Field supportknowledge
  • 3 - 5 years experience in aggressivemedical device commission sales role
  • Exposureto FDAregulations
