Partners with Market and LOB leadership in adefined region to develop and implement strategic priorities for office andclient services which align with local business strategy. regulatory compliance, and client servicessupport. Drives operational excellence, efficiency and collaboration byallocating resources to the most productive uses. Monitors staffing levels,structure, workflow and competencies to effectively support the business. .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners with Senior Managing Director,Northeast Region to drive client services and office operations strategy,ensuring efficient and effective business operations for a regional area.Implements corporate and local initiatives and initiates process improvements.Drives consistency and effectiveness of process and procedure, initiatingimprovements, as required.
Directs the regional office services activities.Office services will include general office support, facility administration,business licensing and continuity, compliance and risk management, employeeexperiences and recognition. Will oversee and direct these activities throughpartnership with the Facilities, Business Operations and Regional OfficeServices Manager(s).
Directs the regional client services supportactivities to drive productivity of client-facing professionals. Responsiblefor training and development of staff to insure the highest quality workproduct. Will oversee and direct these activities through partnership withBusiness Operations and Regional Client Services Manager(s).
Partners with local and regional seniormanagement to develop and implement initiatives that optimize operationalperformance and support to the business. Drives consistency and effectivenessof process and procedure, initiating improvements where needed.
Partners with Business Operations to ensureachievement of financial goals through budgeting, strategic planning andexpense monitoring.
Partners with IT, HR, Research and Marketing toensure initiatives are implemented effectively and supported properly withinthe region.
Manages the planning, organization, and controlsfor a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix ofdirect and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staffrecruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action andtermination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next levelmanagement for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels andreports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supportsstaff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching,mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leadsby example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
BA/BS from a four-year college or university;fifteen or more years related experience and/or training including at leastfive years of management experience; personnel and department managementexperience, including business planning and budgeting; or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
Experience managing business operations in acustomer-focused service firm with multi-location structure. Experience inFinance, HR, staff management and facilities management required. Knowledgeableabout Information Technology and Market Research.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpretthe most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the mostsensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articlesusing distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentationson complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, topmanagement, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires a knowledge of financial terms andprinciples. Approves and oversees department budget.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal witha variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analyticaland quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategicsolutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws uponthe analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact onthe company.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Computer literate. High level of proficiency inMicrosoft Office suite. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial and HR platforms andSales Force is preferred. Knowledge of real estate terminology. Ability totravel.
