Description POSITION SUMMARY: If so, Guardian Life Insurance Company is actively seeking an innovative,driven Social Media Strategy Leader who will serve as the social media channelexpert for the corporate brand, drive customer service social engagement andhelp build overall social strategies. will have a strong understanding of social channelsand emerging trends, a passion for SEO and a desire to generate breakthrough socialcampaigns then relentlessly measure their efficacy. This position reports to theDirector of Digital Strategy and will modernize and manage our company social platformsand evangelize social channel best practices across the decentralized organization. Criticaldependencies include the Content Team, Internal and External Communicationsfunctional leaders and teams, Brand Manager and creative teams as well as digital,marketing, customer service and communications counterparts within businessunits and functional areas. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES: Develop with Content and Digital leaders a strategy for social media channels andtheir role in reflecting the organizations future vision for enhanced brandreputation and growth. Continuouslyimprove our social/digital channel mix to deliver the most value to digital marketingoutcomes. Determine rationale and plan for new channels/platforms. Workwith the Content team to have content created and published and help maintainrelationships with our social communities. Exhibitcompany values in organizing how we serve customers through social channels,including finding new ways to serve more customers via social through automationand social listening (for example). Moderateand escalate customer service conversations online. Workthrough compliance system to assure all social content is approved, tagged andtracked in accordance with evolving industry regulatory requirements. Managea junior social media team member and work collaboratively with social mediaexperts in various business units. Anticipatecrisis communications needs and support preparedness of corporatecommunications functions in social channels. Workingwith brand and creative experts, contribute to the definition and expression ofthe organizations new tone of voice in social content. Overtime,help drive executive and SME engagement strategies for social channels. Collaboratewith HR partners to create meaningful social engagement in employer brandcommunities such as Glassdoor or LinkedIn. Leadthe internal social influencer engagement program. Deriveand implement channel insights from analytics tools like Google Analytics. Analyzechannel performance and present results to relevant organizationalstakeholders. Benchmarkchannel performance and initiatives within the insurance and financial servicesindustries. Workcross-functionally to execute campaigns 360: Coordinate with content team to planad-hoc social posts and project requests from business units, PR, HR, etc. Maintainand evolve the enterprise social media policy, standards and training; collaboratingwith content and brand experts. Evangelizeand educate relevant teams on social channel innovations. SUCCESSMEASURES: Developmentof social channel strategy. Quantitativeengagement metrics tied to identified CTAs for upper and/or lower funnel actions. Executionof highly optimized, well-performing social channel experiences. Organizationaladoption and alignment to social processes and procedures; in collaborationwith internal and content teams, create increased social evangelism byemployees. Qualifications CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: Aminimum of 5 plus years of experience developing managing social properties in acorporate environment. Passionfor all things digital and social and an appetite for independent personal growth. Stayingon top of trends and innovations such as new social channels and changes inexisting (e.g. Insta TV/Live or Facebook Ad targeting limitations) Highlycollaborative, cross-functional approach to success internally and with anyexternal partners or agencies. Understandingof B2B and B2B2C industries a plus. Mustdemonstrate knowledge and respect for social requirements in highly regulatedindustries. Demonstrableexperience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook,Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Experienceleveraging analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Experiencewith publishing and auditing tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social or others. Proficiencywith creative suite software and tools from photo editing, Adobe Creative Suiteand InDesign to digital publishing like Ceros. Senseof urgency and solution orientation. Desireto be part of team helping drive culture change while preserving core values. Excellentcommunicator, collaborator and presenterwritten and verbal. EDUCATION: Bachelorsdegree required; Masters degree, MBA, certifications in social, digital orcontent a plus.
