The Oracle Data Cloud (ODC) is looking for a Manager, API Partner Development who will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy between API Partners as well as mid-market social ad buying stakeholders (Facebook reps, mid-market social agencies) and the ODC. This role manages a team focused on building strong relationships within API Partner and mid-market Sales/Account Management teams, and is responsible for identifying opportunities to become core infrastructure to their business. This is a quota-bearing role where your team will enable ODC products for the top API Partners and mid-market stakeholders, including the advertisers they represent, across multiple verticals, distribution channels and ODC product lines; audience, context and measurement.
This role will:
Manage a team of self-starters dedicated to exceeding revenue goals through ODC product adoption within API Partners and mid-market stakeholders.
Collaborate with the ODC cross-functional teams like Marketing, Sales, Client Solutions to align on sales opportunities and increase understanding and adoption of purchase-based targeting, measurement and context solutions.
Manage and elevate sales relationship between ODC, API Partners and mid-market stakeholders, specifically focused on high growth mid-market accounts and enterprise 300 brands
Understand how each API Partner is uniquely positioned and identify opportunities for them to better leverage audiences, measurement and context to improve campaign performance.
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Partner Developmentand works closely with other members of the Partner Development and Partner Management teams, including account leads on both coasts that own the business/technical aspects of the partnership.
This position is conducive to a natural leader who aims to think creatively and strategically about complex problems within the Social Media Marketing Technology space.
Manage team responsible for building relationships with sales organizations from leading media companies, focused on revenue growth
Be the ODC leader for API Partner and mid-market stakeholder teams and the point-person for the ODC vertical sales teams with the goal of building strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships
Possess detailed knowledge digital ad strategies and the ad tech space
Drive sales education by hosting partner trainings and managing new product rollouts.
Be the eyes and ears in the field, delivering feedback to the Partner Management teams to prioritize new initiatives
Build custom collateral, create proposals to meet client needs and drive results
Map and understand client org: identify key players, decision makers, and influencers
Establish relationship with each sales reps accounts for purpose of prioritizing and mobilize resources internally to align with demand
Skills and Qualifications:
2+ years management of a quota bearing team
7+ years sales, sales support, or business development experience working with advertising agencies, publishers, or digital media providers (DSPs, DMPs, PMDs)
Advanced understanding of the online ad tech ecosystem, familiarity with mobile
Demonstrated track record owning revenue quota; meeting/exceeding goals
Familiarity with both online and offline measurement tools and solutions
Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive teams
Ability to manage within a very dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Self-motivated, strong energy, and enthusiasm balanced with patience and persistence.
Ability to travel at least one week per month
