SVP Executive Compensation & Relationship Manager, GFGC Supports the Total Rewards agenda and strategy for the Global Functions and Categories, with clients that include 9 out of the 16 PEC members and 170 Band 3-5 executives spread across corporate and each of the sectors Provides strategic counsel on day-to-day Total Rewards advice, solutions and support to PepsiCos global Functions and Categories that drive PepsiCos business and talent imperatives, including strategic total rewards matters related to functional operating model transformations with global impact Working with HRBPs and function leaders, develop customized compensation solutions, including incentive programs to support talent and business objectives within the Global Functions and CategoriesDeveloped and implemented customized eCommerce compensation programDesigned R&D incentive program for key talent to drive achievement of specific Performance with Purpose deliverables and support the retention of key talent with highly technical skillsResearch and developed ISG and Aviation equity compensation approach to attract and retain key talent within these functional areas Lead all compensation and benefit aspects of M&A transactions conducted by Corporate and Global Functions and Categories as well as serving as subject matter expert on transactions led by the sectorsIn legal capacity, responsible for leading compensation matters in acquisition including PBG, PAS, Naked Juice and Sabra JV, including structuring and negotiation retention arrangement for key talent, converting equity awards into PepsiCo equity and designing severance arrangements to meeting productivity commitments Lead Corporate restructuring (e.g. Odyssey/Panther) and severance initiatives to support achievement of PepsiCos productivity goalsStructure and negotiate highly complex senior executive severance arrangements at levels LG1-LG5, including obtaining Compensation Committee approval as necessary and preparing SEC disclosure Partner with HRBP teams to provide subject-matter expertise and compensation consulting, including stewardship of LG4 approval process, job offers and severances, as well as sharing best practices for all functional restructurings globally Translate business and talent needs and strategies of the Global Functions and Categories to inform enterprise total rewards policy and design decisions Partner with CoE to support policy harmonization efforts to ensure Global Functions and Categories consistency and compliance Build capability and understanding of PepsiCos total rewards programs among HR business partners and leaders to reinforce pay-for-performance culture and provide strategic direction on the communications and change management associated with implementation of significant total rewards initiatives.
This role is responsible for leading all aspects of the Compensation and Benefits agenda for the Global Functions and Global Categories, covering over 9,000 associates with an annual payroll spend of ~$7B. As a critical member of the GFGC Total Rewards Leadership Team, this role collaborates and partners with the CHRO and Senior HRBPs on critical business decisions. This involves developing and executing the GFGC Compensation & Benefits strategy that enables the delivery of business priorities while aligning to PepsiCos TR philosophy. With the support of one 1 Compensation professional this role deploys, aligns, develops, and sometimes design both the short-term and long-term strategic imperatives for Total Rewards while operating in a highly matrixed and dynamic organization, that includes over 1,500 executives overall, whose talent is paramount to PepsiCos growth and transformation.
Relationship Manager Responsibilities include:
Primary Interactions: Participate and deliver Total Rewards agenda at HRBP staff meetings Manage all compensation and benefit efforts tied to LG1-LG7 moves within GFGC Facilitate and support the delivery of all Expatriate and local packages from Global Mobility Principle Total Rewards contact with HRVPs and their respective team members
Qualifications/Requirements Requires 5 years of Compensation and Benefits experience of increasing responsibility and leadership Requires ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and to balance competing priorities High degree of visibility of work product as principal clients are CHRO, HRVPs Requires strong analytic, math, problem-solving, and project management skills Requires strong executive presence, communications and influencing skills with HRVPs, as well as internal stakeholders Relocation Eligible:
