The Primary Care Physician & Program Director is a dual role combining direct patient care and program creation and oversight. The Program Director is responsible for the development and oversight of our new Primary Care program. In partnership with Medical and Operational leaders, the Program Director will develop and then manage systems and processes to ensure a high-quality primary care program, including physician/mid-level provider training and oversight, medical consultation and medical leadership. This position also provides primary care services in our health centers, as well as the full array of family planning and medication abortion care. In the first 12 months of employment, the role will require 60% direct medical care and 40% administrative responsibilities. After 12 months, the role will move to 80% direct medical care care and 20% administrative responsibilities.

Position requires M.D. or D.O. in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and must be Board certified or Board eligible. Certifications required include DEA and ACLS. Must have experience in full range of primary care. Previous leadership responsibilities strongly desired.
