The Vice President of Sales of Surface Media reporting to the CEO and a member of the Executive Leadership Team of the company, will be responsible for revenue across all Surface Media assets including print, digital, and experiential. The VP of Sales will be directly responsible for managing the Sales, Account Management and Sales Planning teams. The VP of Sales will work with the Executive Leadership Team to define business goals, KPIs and objective for the revenue organization and will then be responsible to meet and exceed them. The VP of Sales will work closely with Marketing, Audience Development and Revenue Operations teams as well as Content and Events leads to ensure business success. Responsibilities: Work with the Executive Leadership Team to define business goals, KPIs and revenue objective. Develop business and revenue growth strategies with the executive team for all business units. Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics to drive performance. Collaborate with Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Audience Development teams to ensure there is a smooth and efficient process for campaign execution across print, digital and experiential. Work with Product Marketing to define all media products for print, digital and experiential, as well as the integrated product offerings. Work with the Sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets through new account generation and growing current accounts. Develop and implement robust sales management processes pipeline, account planning, proposals, through billing. Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth. Work with the Revenue Operation team to execute on media campaigns and consistently deliver on insertion order requirements. Work with the Revenue Operations team to architect a market leading digital ad tech stack. Work with the Audience Development team to define a plan and execute against it to grow distribution across Print, Digital and Experiential. Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting. Oversee all Channel/Partner Development -- adding new sales channels and 3rd party resellers and partners. Drive a lean startup style environment of constant experimentation and learning. Experience: The right candidate will have 10+ years in publishing, media and revenue focused roles.
