Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting is actively recruiting for an position at a Rockland based company. The Account Manager will be responsible for working with clients and making sure that all their needs and goals are met. Additional responsibilities include:

Leads the development of overall client strategic plans and goals. Manages account teams assigned to specific clients and the operating structures.
Serves as the primary contact and liaison between the agency and assigned client in all matters.
Provides leadership and serves as a role model for team members, providing clear direction, inspiring action, creating growth opportunities and fostering a culture of collaboration across agency team functions.
Supervises and provides overall leadership and direction in recommending short-term and long-range goals and objectives for assigned clients. Leads client teams in planning and developing marketing programs that are consistent with the clients mission and strategic business plan.
Responsible for the fiscal management of assigned client budget. Accountable for the development, management and evaluation of operating budget, and for achieving objectives while operating within budgeted expense targets.
Responsible for keeping leadership informed on the status of accounts, including challenges, opportunities, staffing needs, plans and meetings.
Plays a critical role in the development of team personnel, as well as their own career development.
Collaborates in the new business process to actively purse and land new clients for the agency.

Bachelors Degree required
Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Excellent client service and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently but must be a team player.
Extremely proactive, self-sufficient and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied tasks in a timely manner.
Enjoy working independently and in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge across departments.
Eager to learn multiple aspects of the digital media landscape.
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
